Default Genesis 3 System Not Outputting Stereo Sound

Yeah, I discovered this after plugging in A/V cables. It's only pumping out sound on the left channel.

The A/V cables are brand new.

Some guy I know said he had heard something about Gen 3 models not being in stereo.....but I'm calling BS on that one. Doesn't make sense.

Anyways, I'm not sure how to fix it, so I guess I'll just use the RF cable that it came with or my Genny 2 unit.

I haven't used mine in a long time, but I'm pretty sure the output is mono. The Genesis 3 is pretty cheap in all regards. :/

Probably, though it'd require that you mod your model neutered Genny, which means fun with the ol' soldiering iron.

Just slap in a Y connector and bam, R and L outputs. I don't think you're gonna get true stereo out of it.

I always read that Gen3s were mono only. Their only grace is the small size and that s-video can be directly tapped out from an IC.
