Wanted: PlayStation Guncon(s)

Okay, I have a copy of Point Blank 2 for my old PlayStation coming in and I don't have a GunCon. I have 2 guns (Nyko Cobra and some other blue one) but my understanding is that these are not compatible with PB2 so I need 1 or 2 guns that are. I'm willing to sell or trade for them so if you have an available one or two, please PM me. My most updated tradelist can be found at tradegamesnow.com, username redcurrie.

Those guns should work just fine. For PS1, I have three different guns, only one of them a GunCon, and the other two both work like a charm with PB2. So, I'd say give it a try first.

expect guncon2 prices to go through the roof shortly. It seems a really smart person figured out how to interface it with MAME!

I agree, i also have 2 cheap knock-off guns, one doesn't work with Point Blank (but i haven't been able to get that gun to work with any game, so it might just be broken) but the other one orks fine.

Also, although Point Blank is a pretty good shooter game, you should also try out Ghoul Panic, it has great multiplayer modes and is comparable in gameplay to Point Blank (but slightly better in my opinion)...

Has this actually happened yet? The thread i saw was lots of "we're working on it" and whatnot. This would be rather awesome if it does work right now though.

Guncom 2s are shitty guns IMO. Lousy to grip, lusy configuration. Now if they'd done that with Guncom 1s, THAT would be crazy impressive.

I can now confirm that the Nyko Cobra and the Performance Lightblaster don't work with PB2. The guns work fine on Horned Owl and the game works fine with the controller so that rules both of those problems out. My games are NTSC and I'm assuming at least yok-dfa is playing the PAL version. Could that account for the difference in compatibility?
