Thanks for the web address of that site. It looks like I'll get one from there if no one from here has one.
Tony
The site listed above didn't have the TI 99 cord that I need. Please someone on here has to have one. Please PM or reply here. I won't be able to pay until Friday, the clutch in my truck went out, so I have to have one put in. I also need a few common Color Computer games. Thanks,
Tony

If the deal falls through, and you can wait until Friday, I'll get it from you. Please let me know, and how much the shipping to zip 38555 would be. Thanks,
Tony

That sounds great,
Tony
Hey
If you still need it I have a TI rf adapter that needs the 300ohm tv connector replaced( Included). I havent gotten around to doing it. I would let it go really cheap, like $2 plus shipping.

I'll wait to see if mindlesspunk77 can help me out on this for right now. I'll get in touch with you if I need another one. Thanks for your time,
Tony
Doesn't the TI-99 also output Chroma/luma signals off the same AV port? I seem to recall hooking my TI-99 up to a Commodore monitor some time ago. Like I was using a C64 video cable or maybe some other AV DIN connector Genesis, Turbo Duo, or something. I thought it made for a cleaner picture, no more fugly RF box. Maybe I'm totally off base here, but if anyone can confirm, you might go a different direction with the missing RF, and just pick up a Commie video cable. I think I had some with the separate chroma & luma feeds & some with just the one combined? Maybe Vic-20 & C64 or something. One of these I believe works fine on TI-99. One you might need to combine the two into one line & then plug in.. But this would be dead easy to hook to a modern tv, easier to sell on ebay too.
Yo
He's right.
The RF output from the TI comes from a big external adapter.
The port does have normal AV but I don't think it has split chroma/luma like the atari or commodore. BUT it does use the same cable as the commodore.
Even if you need RF to get to an old TV you should go with a newer modulator with 75ohm connectors and straight AV. The old modulators using 300ohm are a dying breed.

I only bring it up, as Tony may have some compatible hookups in the junk drawer he doesn't even realize. And because me personally would rather have the AV cables going to the tv than an RF setup. Cleaner picture that's easier to switch on, no reach arounds. Just select the proper video input on tv.
That's one of the great things about these early 8-bits, they all have easy composite qualities.
TI must just take the 5-pin DIN video cable then. Some early C64s used it, and I believe all of the Vic-20s. If it has room for the 8-pin din, then you may could use that too, but probably need to combine the chroma/luma into one for color.
Thanks for all the info. I am not to techenical when it comes to this stuff, so the simpler the better. I am wanting to start working on some old systems that I have, but have alot of learning to do(like soldering). Thanks again,
Tony
I now need 2 or 3 Color Computer games(it's a Color Computer 2), just any games(except for pinball, and educational carts) that are fun. I am getting ready to sell the extra one that I have, and need a few games to put with it to sweeten the deal. Please e-mail or post how much it will cost shipped to zip 38555.
I also need Gauntlet Dark Legacy for the Gamecube, Metal Slug Advance for Gameboy Advance. Please PM a shipped price for these.
I would like for them to be complete(except for the Color Computer games), and in very good to great condition.
