    a bit more processing...

    forgot about this guy yesterday

nothing fancy, filled in some gaps in the ol' PC-Engine collection

Creepy! Based on the very old custom of "Hyaku Monogatari" (100 ghost stories).... light a bunch of candles, tell a ghost story, blow a candle out... rinse and repeat until all candles are out.

I too have been focusing on the PC Engine!

My first PC Engine Duo, and boy oh boy do I love her already. Now just to find an Arcade Card Duo.

Ys IV came with the Duo. I've also been showing some Saturn and NGCD love. With Sonic Wings III, I have the whole series (the first one on the Super Famicom, two on the NGCD, and the 3D one on the N64) now except the remixed version on the Saturn.

I didn't! I got lucky and found a better deal online, actually. It took me half a year of looking, maybe longer, but I eventually snagged one for a good price. So I imagine the one at VGNY is still there.

You come into the city often?

    Yeah someone did snatch that.

There is a TG16 and CD add on there currently though.

I go to the city like once or twice a month or so, I'm a 45 minute train ride away from NYPenn.

Some sales and a couple trades over the past month landed me all these.

    A few nice games there.
I wanted a Famicom version of Super Sprint (I don't know, I guess I just prefer "licensed" variants more), but that seems to go for quite a bit more than the NES version (so I just stuck with getting a cheap Tengen cart). (did Altron do limited releases or something? Looks like Paperboy and Tom & Jerry also sell, or at least list, for a lot more than their western counterparts. I remember a few years ago I tried to bid on a CIB Paperboy. I probably bid something like $10-20 but it went over $40 as I recall. And I think that was just as Famicom CIB collecting was just starting to take off.)

I wish I knew why Altron games were so much more expensive. Granted, I didn't pay near as much as I could have for my copies of Paperboy and Super Sprint, because they're loose, but I've seen the prices they go for, and it puzzles me. It reminds me of how Guevara is so much more expensive than Guerrilla War, for some as-yet-unexplained reason.

Probably because of the censorship in Guerilla War (even if it's only the plot, which shouldn't matter much for a shooter anyways).
I guess people want to "officially" play as Guevarra/Castro and not whatever SNK called the guys in GW.

Just got The Lucky Dime Caper and Batman Returns for the SMS. Also got the PAL version of Castle of Illusion....it was so much cheaper than the NTSC version, and it's the same game!

Quite possibly. I just wanted to get the Fami version, like I did with most SNK games.
