Samurai Spirits: Tenkaichi Kenkakuten for the PlayStation 2. I love the game, it has become my favorite entry in the Samurai Spirits/Shodown series!

    Bleach DS.

    Is anyone else playing this?

    NO!

Well you really should be. This is an incredible fighter by Treasure. PM me if you have any questions about this game (translation, etc...)

Japanese versions of Gran Turismo 2 and Colin McRae Rally which I found at, get this, Software etc. Uh, yeah. Ha ha.

I can't tell if GT2 is any different than the US version (other than changes in car prices, text language, etc). McRae is barely even localized, with just an added option for Japanese voices for the co-driver and such.

On Saturday two PS2 imports arrived. They are ESPgaluda and Sonic Wings (the Hamster budget series).

Note: As you may have guessed, BAM DS is not an import, this is just a recycled photo I used for the Feb. finds in classic gaming.

Yes, but in a sadly limited way until someone does a FAQ, which may be never. The only English in the game is the fighters' names under their lifebars in play. EVERYTHING is in Japanese. The menus require some trial and error, but nothing too troublesome for someone accustomed to playing imports. The tutorial can be tough to get though without the ability to read the move directions at the bottom of the screen, but it is doable. Arcade mode is easy enough to play around with, but I seem to have hit a brick wall in the Story mode as I keep getting bounced back to an earlier match. Might need to use a certain move or something.

There is also the problem of the card system in play. I have no idea what they are for and that makes it tough to progress in any way. This kinda sucks because non-japanese speakers really cannot get the full experience at this point.

It is very unfortunate that the chances of this being translated are so incredibly low. It is very cool and I would love to play some multiplayer. I also would like to gain understanding of the card system.

I would pick this one up anyway though, especially if you are a Treasure fan or collector. When the puzzle is solved by a FAQ, not having this game will be missing out.

    Coupla Dreamcast games:
    Neppachi II
    Super Producers

They cost less than a pint each so I'm happy with that.

A FAQ does now exist for Bleach DS. (On Game FAQS of course). If you have any other questions about the game feel free to ask me. I have everything unlocked now and know much of what things do in the game.

A coupla Neo Geo Pocket goodies:

    Cool Cool Jam
    Ganbare Neo Poke Kun

Really looking forward to playing both of them but don't have my NGPC here so will have to wait a month or so. On a sidenote, I don't like fact that these come in cardboard boxes and not the great UK packagaing. It reminds me of stupid GBA boxes but at least SNK still had the decency to provide a case for the cartridge.
