Besides the usual japanese games that came in recently, got my very first German game ever:
Giana Sisters (DS)

Ya, planning a big Famicom haul from japangamestock when I get paid!
Seems they've added a few items this week, so they probably are still doing business.
Actually had this Nightmare Busters repro for a few months now. However, just removed it from it's packing bubble wrap today to actually play it. lol
The Caanoo was a bit of an impulse. Considering I haven't even opened the Wiz I got on release! haha
However I've always wanted to pick one of these little suckers up.

The PC FX is a great console, just too bad the library is a bit..... one-sided towards visual novels.
Won two auctions today!
Oh, I saw that Contra listing. It was more than I wanted to spend.
I tried to snipe several games from the seller, and was surprised I got out-sniped on several. Not surprised I lost Ninja Ryuukenden 3, but Cosmic Epsilon and Heavy Barrel higher must be higher in demand that I thought. :P
But I got King Kong 2 and later unexpectedly won RodLand.
$39 shipped for FC RodLand seems like a nice deal. I know I'd crap my pants if I won the Engrish version at that price. Any idea what that one's up to these days?

I made bids for Rod Land, Contra, Metal Storm and Holy Diver 'cause I'm OCD about CIB games. Metal Storm sold for $100, and my max bid was $80 or so. Damn you for winning Rod Land! Luckily, I have another source for it at basically the same price you won it for. I was kind of desperate for the CIB Contra as it's the only one I've seen on eBay / YAJ for a long, long time.
How much did Heavy Barrel end at?

I bid about $10 (which is a bit crazy, there's a few NES carts at about $5 BIN).
So, I think the winning bid was probably $10.50.
Got this non-working skeleton Saturn on ebay:

The problem was that the metal rod that the lens travels on was not in proper place, so the gears could not catch on to the teeth to move it. I tucked it back in position and it works flawlessly. I could not believe how simple of a fix that was. I was expecting a dead laser and planned on swapping out the entire drive assembly. The console is in excellent condition other than the white plastic parts inside somehow turned into an orange-ish color. I played 30 minutes of Xmen vs Street Fighter to make sure the everything works well (controller ports, cartridge port, disc drive), and it does
16-bit is great, except for his $15 in shipping cost per game for standard shipping to Norway. Fucking meh.

I meant for one game! I can't remember if he combines or not. He probably does, but $15 for one game is such a turn-off.

Got impatient and ordered SaGa 3 DS from PlayAsia for about $46.
I'd love for Square-Enix to make me feel I just wasted my money by announcing an English release (and I'd usually give it more than 2 months), but it's getting near the end of the DS life and S-E disappointed me by not translating SaGa 2 (which I thought was a safe bet).
Currently, it looks like a used CIB SaGa 2 will still run me about that. Perhaps wait and see if it drops after 3DS is out longer and DS interest drops?
Metal Slug on the Saturn, it was cheap and it plays very nicely. There's some slowdown with all the action on the screen, but it's very nice to own another version of Slug.
Been after this for years since I heard the NSF. On Shelf 3 right now.
