Got 2 books from France... the Super Famicom Bible and the NES/Famicom Bible. Both come in really nice packaging and contain both western and japanese hardware/software (and even homebrew). Very comprehensive (history, flyers, box art, etc... you name it).

Also Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, probably Cave's last shmup on a proper console.

Well, I'm living in Korea, so everything I buy is 'imported'. Luckily, Korea gets all of the cool Japanese stuff just re-branded in Korean. The games usually aren't translated. Anyhow, some items, all for PC. The G-Darius and Raycrisis are nice to have. Raystorm coming soon.

I should've bought the Sunsoft Memorial Collection 6 when I first saw it listed at like $40 a few years ago, didn't see another copy for a year and it jumped to $140.
I imagine 5 is still worth alot. Little Ralph probably wasn't cheap either.

Sunsoft Memorial 5 was $90 new/sealed. It sucks with those games cause 5 & 6 are stupid expensive, while the rest in the series I can get for about $30 new/sealed. Stupid popular games. Like you, I wish I picked them up from ncsx.com when they were first stocking them at $29.99!

Little Ralph was only $50 new/sealed because the seller didnt know what they had, luckily I was surfing ebay right as this was listed BIN $50!!!

Hah, this is the second time in recent days that I bid for something, only to come across the same bidder again on an Internet forum a short time later.

By the way, I'm the second highest bidder. I had some idea of the value of the item but for pragmatic reasons and fortunately for you, I couldn't bring myself to bid that much for it. By pragmatic, I mean it's like how some SHMUP games are worth $500 in the "market" but to me they're worth $10 because I don't even like that genre. And I don't even like the Arc the Lad series that much. Anyway, this is probably a once-in-a-lifetime purchase for you to be sure.

Just out of interest, what was your maximum bid? Just so I can feel better and rationalise about missing out on it.

Also I might as well use this opportunity to ask, what do you know about the contents of the game? Is it a completely unique game, or if not, does it have unique material? In what way does it differ from the "Arc the Lad: Monster Game and Casino Game" release?

Info I have at the moment include the back of the case congratulating the 1000 people who were selected to receive this game, and that Arc the Lad II Save Data is necessary to play the game (same requirements as retail release).

My max bid was $350. I bought it to immediately trade for a large group of sealed ps1 games Ive wanted. I could care less about Arc the Lad, although I wish I could have checked out the contents of the disc. Not a once in a lifetime purchase either, Ive found crazy stuff from this same seller, including a $1000 Famicom game (Exed Exes Silver Members label) for $33 bucks!

Well, technically it's running against Sonic SMS for "most valuable sticker". :P

(well, maybe that's not quite a right comparison. With Exed Exes, it literally is the label that's valuable, though.)
