Default Virtual Bowling for the VB : is $650 an honest price?

Not that I can really afford it (unless the DP members want to start a fundraising in my honor) but I got offered a Virtual Bowling game for the Virtual Boy for $650.
That's complete in mint condition - is it considered a fair price or not?

The same seller offered me Space Invader for $230 and I am about to break my vow to never spend over $100 for a single game... Damn it is hard ot collect for the Virtual Boy!

Space Invaders sounds like a good price to me (here's an eBay auction for one that didn't sell for the same amount due to a reserve: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...184075319&rd=1 )

Funky Bowling... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...184074628&rd=1 I'd say you could get it a little cheaper -- around the $400.00 closing price of that auction -- but it would probably take a long time to find it and get it. On the other hand, the BIN price for that auction was over $1000, and you don't see that game very often at all.

I guess it is all up to you. Personally, I'd spring for Space Invaders and hold back on Funky Bowling if I was collecting VB stuff

Thank you for the tips - I did see the same auctions on eBay but it is hard to make any kind of judgment from a couple auctions.
The DP guide for VB is also a little off (I'd gladly volunteer to update it Joe) and I have seen Virtual Bowling go from anywhere from $400 to $1200.

Space Invaders also looks like a fair price (The average I know of is closer to $300 these days)... damn me, why couldn't I collect used soda cans, it would have been so much cheaper !!!

FYI, Virtual Bowling is not the same game as nester Funky Bowling published in US.

A few years ago Virtual Bowling was fetching upward of $1000, how economy has changed (as well as eBay), people aren't throwing money around any more.

Space Invader is a very good price for $230.
