Default Street Fighter III: Third Strike

Started playing this DC fighter recently. Good stuff.

F'n Gill. Can anyone beat him on level 4 or higher? Even on level 1 he's nails tough.

Remy's cool... nice to see a Guile wannabe in the game. Only thing that would make this game perfect would be a JP Saturn-style controller. Ah well, can't win them all eh? Off to try MvC 2, Mark of the Wolves and Last Blade II... heh, I got these four fighters in a trade for US Dragon Force straight up.

I play Third Strike on xbox live all the time. Pretty much the only videogame I play anymore.

You can use a jpn saturn pad on an xbox as well, which is good stuff, but these days I use a stick.

Third Strike is spectacular, I can beat Gill on Default settings but he is very cheap.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves is what I've been heavily playing on my cab lately and it is truly a beautiful game, the DC version is almost spot on you will probably enjoy it immensely.

Yeah I have destroyed him many times , thats after plenty of cursing and calling him a cheap SOB.

You usually can be cheap right back and mop the floor with him.

The DC version of SF:3rd strike is good but far from arcade perfect.

after getting SF:AC on PS2 I was shocked to realize how far from perfect the DC version actually is

on the AC version I noticed animations and even background features that are not even present in the DC version and both the Xbox and PS2 ver have more attention to detail.
I still play 3rd strike on my DC all the time though mostly becuase I have 2 DCs and only one aging PS2.

That's true, the DC version is far from perfect, it lacks some character frames that the PS2/XBox and arcade have, there are some Urien combos that cannot be done on DC because of that. Gamplay for DC version is still the same.

No, parrying is off on the DC version.
