Is this worth picking up for $20-30 at a local garage sale? It looks to be complete. The rarity guide lists it as an R7.
Opinions?

HELL YES !!! In complete form (with box and all accessories) and is worth around $125+. Even if it doesn't have the box (but has all the other stuff) it is worth at least $50. GO BUY IT!Originally Posted by cityside75

This belongs in Video Gaming since your not buying or selling something here.
Shifting it over.
I've got one, although the right speaker's busted in and it's missing the NES cord (although it does have the game). It's a good piano though! :/
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?
Yep. It comes with a sustain pedal, the most important one on a "real" piano. It's quite a common accessory for keyboards in general, although the Miracle one is propietary and can't be repalaced with any ol' generic pedal.Originally Posted by dojosky
Well I went ahead and bought it. They were asking $30 for it but I was able to talk her down to $20.
It looks like everything's there except the outer box. I asked if it was sitting around, but no luck.
It's got the styrofoam box, the keyboard to NES cord, the foot pedal (which hardly looks like a pedal but I verified it in the manual), the headphones, and the AC adaptor along with the keyboard and the cartridge.
I'd be happy to post pics if anyone's interested. Also, considering I don't have an NES at the moment (and realized long ago that I don't have a musical bone in my body), this is definitely going up for sale/trade if anyone's interested.
Thanks for the feedback!
I'd be interested in a pic of the foot pedal. I've got 2 Miracle Pianos. The first was missing the foot pedal, and the second came with what appears to be a sort-of-foot shaped, flat piece of foam rubber with a wire trailing out of it terminated with a small jumper-type connector. I can only assume that's either the foot pedal, or more likely, a piece of the foot pedal. I've never found a decent picture of the actual foot pedal, so yeah, I'd like to see it.
Go ahead with pics, I've never seen one before and it would be cool.
Thanks
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

I don't have a pic, but that sounds about right.Originally Posted by NoahsMyBro
It's an easy piece of gear to test:
1) Plug it in (the jumper-type connector goes into the back of the keyboard).
2)Turn on keyboard.
3)Hold down a note.
4)Press on the foam pedal, and lift your finger off the note.
If the note keeps playing, the pedal is working.
Pics are coming shortly, but my initial impression is that this is a FAR nicer MIDI keyboard than I would have expected! The sound quality on this thing is really good.
It has all kinds of ports on the back too, it definitely can be used for more than just an NES keyboard.
Anyone know what this thing sold for new back in the day?
that thing retailed for $299.99 back in old days I think IIRC if I am wrong just say so here ... and I will edit that price ... thanks !
I believe that's right. It was around $300.Originally Posted by dojosky

That's the foot pedal on top there...
Killer find!
You got it for a really nice price, also.
I would love to know how well one of these things worked and if it was a good 'teacher' of the keyboard to you.

I would pay $20 for just the keyboard and cart... so I'd say go for it.
