Yeah, that was a serious weakness of last years' show, a product of just having too many things to coordinate with the big move.Originally Posted by gavv
The CGE Arcade is gonna kick a lot of ass this year, over 50 machines. We were able to recruit some local help but we're also enlisting the aid of our E3 arcade game suppliers. It's just a matter of deciding WHICH games to fill the floor with.
Star Wars and Punch-Out please.

Thanks for speaking on this Joe, I appreciate it.Originally Posted by digitalpress
I have an update on this, apparently the Dallas show was scheduled for a weekend in the fall (Sept.-Oct.) and NBC Called the Philly Classic organizers back and said they want to move it to summer. And they agreed to add another Show in D.C. for August. So anyways, it was either say yes to the date change, or lose a contract with a major television network.
Also, Joe is right, Philly Classic / AVGE is expanding to Videogames in general, although there will be PLENTY of prominent displays of classic merchandise. This also is a great way to present to the public the hobby of retrogaming. Anyways, I hope to hear great reviews and see pics of both shows! Please post whatever you can ASAP! I wish I could be at either, but finances have not been as fluent lately, and airfare is quite expensive. I will stick to the Jersey meetings and the Philly Classic show this fall.
Again, thanks for the support. -Chris
