Nintendo themselves created the Nintendo ON video as a marketing ploy?
I *thought* it seemed awfully professional. That would make sense, it had some original music and everything.
Holy moly, this actually sounds possible. That's pretty damn cool. If it is true, Nintendo have once again shown their true colours - and what wonderful colours they are.
I wonder if the headset is the controller.... *scared*.

Having just watched it, it seems hard to believe it was an amateur effort. Then again, cosidering that this is, after all, the Internet, home of manbeef.com and Bonsai Kittens...hoaxes are our lifeblood. Perhaps somebody put a lot of effort into a fake Nintendo ad just so IGN would link to it and show their work off. Perhaps Reggie is giving viral marketing a spin and put this video out to build hype, even if nothing like the headset is planned.
I'll go ahead and join the Captain in calling B.S. on this one. I don't have an explanation for it, but I don' think that the big N is releasing a virtual reality helmet that plays GCN games.

Well, I went to nintendoon.com and it took me to an ign page about how the video was fake. Then I watched it for the first time. It is well done, but there are several things that don't make sense if it is really a leaked video or something now that we know more. For instance, all that flashy stuff shows "02" gameboys advances, when we know there are now "03" gameboy advances. I could go into detail, but why? It's fake and we all know it. I don't want to be walking around the house kicking the cat who looks like a ninja to me, thankyouverymuch.
