Default How rare is my Zelda clock?

Some of you will remember my Zelda clock (The one that looks like a wristwatch) I still don't know how rare it is.. I'm thinking R8 or R9.

Someone please give me an idea on how rare it would be in the DP rarity guide.

When it comes to video game collectables its hard to put a price on most things. A good rule though is that things that were used to advertise a specific game (wall displays, posters, gaint game boxes, ect) almost always go for more than generic stuff, like Zelda or Mario towels / wallpaper / clocks ect. There just isn't a market for mass produced consumer buyable merchindise, at least for the most part.

I agree with the people above. You can't really give an item like this a rarity rating. Although I do think it is quite rare. I have been looking on Ebay over the last 6 months or so, and NONE have come up. A regular sized Zelda clock went for $46.50 last week. It was the exact same thing as yours, except it didnt have the watch bands. It was brand new in box though.
I have a Mario 2 watch clock, that is the same as yours, but is for the game SMB 2. I bought mine on Ebay for $6.50!!! I guess that no one must have noticed it, because it has to be worth more than that. I'm not complaining though. :P

If you are looking to sell for top dollar, you should toss it on Ebay. I'll give ya $40+ shipping for it though. Just in case you care.

Yeah I don't think it's that rare either. That towel on the other hand is one of a kind.. can't say I've got a towel wiped with your butt in my inventory.

    Well here's mine...

Counting both mine and yours, Slate, that brings the grand total of CONFIRMED ownership of these clocks that I have been able to gather in the past 10 years to THREE. Yeah, you could order them, but they're not all that well built - how many actually SURVIVED?

If anyone OWNS one of these clocks please post confirmation in this thread. To me this clock is priceless but I've always been curious to how many are still out there. I don't see mass production working out too well for these although it was probably attempted. The plastic used for the top yellow part is somewhat brittle as is the center yellow part.

The regular sized Zelda clocks (same face) are somewhat common since I remember seeing those all over the place back during the height of the NES.

The GameCube thing on the adjacent wall is the display case sized cardboard GameCube poster that Target stores put in the (empty) GameCube case prior to launch so it wouldn't look empty / hide any early arrivial games that were displayed behind it. I also had one for the XBox but it was puke green (not the XBox green) so I let a coworker have it, however I did keep the smaller version of the XBox sign that states the console release date as November 8th. Smuggling that out of the store was no easy task.

That was me that bought the one on eBay nearly a year ago! It's not the same as yours but the art is the same.

At least an R11.3. Maybe closer to R11.5.

I wasn't expecting my post to be bumped. Now that i think of the rarity of the zelda clock, it seems more like an R6 or R7.

I would say it's rare but not super rare like others have said you can get them off ebay for the most part

but it would be interesting to see how many people do have them.
