Another way to go is to get the "NES Satellite" which not only makes any NES controller wireless (even arcade controllers and guns, of any brand) but also adds four player capability and optional turbo buttons.
However, it uses 6 'C batteries and has been said to eat 'em up quickly.
The NES satellite is a great option - but it's darned picky about line-of-site. And yes, it does eat batteries.
I may also still have two "super extendoes" laying around.
Completed 60+ trades here on digital press.
