it's a decent side-scrolling action game that's not related to the game called first samurai at all, in case you were about to ask. the game is nice looking and fun, but has a few cheap enemies here and if i remember correctly, your character can die pretty easily in the game. do you have a PAL mega drive converter? get one before you pay for the game and find out you can't play it.
...er... aside from being the sequel to it, you mean?Originally Posted by geelw
alright, i was up all night (again) looking through a stack of stuff while writing, so i get a bit mixed up from time to time. i was thinking of some import game i saw mislabeled on a website a few years ago as first samurai, but a quick trip to the closet reveals that, yup, vivid image did 2 of these games for a couple of systems. oh well- shoot me later, i'm too tired to die now,
I remember the game, as I once owned it. I think I had the SNES version, but don't think there was mcuh difference. I actually really enjoyed the game. Graphics were allright and gameplay and sound was also good. It was an above average game in my opinion. So if the price is right buy it.
Not that great average best
nice grafix
Go, go Ackman!
So let me get this straight. There's a First Samurai, a Second Samurai, and a Last Ninja.
ah crap, double-post. See below.
No, there's 4 Last NinjasOriginally Posted by TheRedEye
Actually, that hadn't occured to me before, but I wouldn't be surprised if First Samurai was so-called as a homage to Last Ninja.
You take your mad sword-skillz and beat up cavemen and monkeys and other things that don't make sense.
I love this ridiculous game.
One of my top must-haves right now.
So you may have some bidding competition
i'm too lazy to find a rom. its just a standard action game, as opposed to a beat 'em up?
Platform-slasher, really. It's well worth a look though.
yup lots of enemies that constantly respawn too but grafix are really nice could have been a contender if they upped the gameplay a bit.....Originally Posted by pragmatic insanester
