I was wondering this, because I was thinking of selling/trading the ones I have(PS2 and xbox mag ones). They are just lying around doing nada....
Is there any value to them at all if any?

I have almost every OPM & OXM demo disc from the start of the magazines /I just need a few to put in the missing spots.
Plus I collect other demo discs too..
Dangerboy and I do. I've got a fair share of PS OPM discs (when it was PS and not PS2) as well as a nice amount of demos for the PS2. I know that DB has a full set of US PSOne OPM's and is a bit more insane in the hunt to get the PS demo discs. Theres stuff we dont have, we're always interested.
However they tend to not pull much unless its something really weird or special.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

I used to keep the demo discs included with magazines but I had a clear out and chucked them. They were mostly PC Gamer demo discs though, so no great loss
I am going to start picking up some more demo discs for consoles as and when I see them. I think they are quite cool.
I don't hunt them, but I'll bag em when I see em.
yeah,i collect demo disks as well.i have almost all the opm disks(ps1 and ps2)and have some of the x-box magazine demos(im missing alot of those),but what i really like to get are the demos that come in there own sleeve, and the playstation underground disks.i have the first and second underground disk set,but if they made anymore after that,i didnt get those.anyone got any of those and wants to sell them, throw me a pm.
do not buy/get system repair from martin krohn aka iamnotageek.com
I collect them as I get them.
I have almost every Dreamcast demo, tons of promo PS1 demos, PS1 & PS2 mail demos, send away demos (like the RE4 Gamecube) etc.
I consider them to be part of the overall game collection.
The only thing I gave up on because of space is old Nintendo boxes from the NES-N64 days. I threw them all out.

Hmm, so there is interest in them. Maybe I will put them up for trade or something soon in the b&s board.
Edit: geelw if we do business, we can meet in manhattan if anything cause I work there 8)
Here would be better than eBay, I've seen huge lots of demos for ps1 sell for <$10.
I also collect them, still looking for interactive sampler #11 for ps1 and some gaps in my playstation underground magazine collection. I also don't actively seek them, but if I come across some I'll get them. And I've seen DC demos selll for more than the games themselves on eBay.

I collect Dreamcast demos of every sort.
Nothing other than that though.
I just picked up a bunch of PlayStation demos today. It's something I can see myself getting into if the opportunity arises
I have a small collection of demos I got for free or next to free - a couple PlayStation Pizza Hut discs, a couple Jampacks I got for a penny each at Circuit City, some OPM demos I got with a free subscription, a PlayStation underground demo I got in the mail, a God Of War demo I got in the mail, and a Nintendo Gamecube Preview Disc (the only one I actually paid more than a penny for - $3.59 used at EB).
I keep them, but I've never purposely bought them. I've ended with quite a few for PlayStation by buying lots and such. They're always worth a try, especially to see what games I've yet to play are like, and they're fun to keep around just as a piece of gaming history. Sometimes they have some interesting things in them that are different from the actual game release. The Legend of Legaia demo is pretty nifty in that you get the other two party members right about the beginning of the game and there's corny dialogue to explain why they're there. :P
I have some, but I dont colect. I get them with various mags I buy and sometimes even try them out. Most of what I get though I rarely try. I only keep them for a few games. Stuff that never was released. I sometimes give one out in a trade but most of the ones I have left I have no plans to get rid of.
Just for Dreamcast (a few more to go) and Saturn (especially import demos) and that's pretty much it. I've heard of some ones for PS 1 (& 2) that I'd pounce on in the wild, but I don't want all demos for those platforms.

I still have several from OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) but only really purposely saved them during the years they featured games for the PS1. Once they switched to PS2 discs, I lost interest foro some reason. I sold the earliest ones I had but still have 10-20 of them, I think. I never bothered saving them for other systems though I do have a handful from XBox's magazine...
BTW I also got a hold of a Gran Turismo Toyota demo from 2004 in the car show. I still haven't played it lol. Its a demo of a specific prototype car that toyota had up taht year. It was some robot car of sorts.
