Today I spent 31.00, and did pretty good!

Resident Evil Outbreak - PS2 - 5.00 (Guy seemed to get mad when I got him down from 10.00 and paid him with a 20.00, I normally don't do that but it's all I had)

Good morning at a big neighborhood rummage. Along with some toys for the girls and house stuff for the wife, I managed to score some goodies for my self:



Mint Virtual Boy in box for $5! Looks like it had rarely if ever been played with...only game it came with was golf, but I'm not complaining . Time to finally start that head-mounted VB project!

Remote (by wire) R2-D2 $1. This one had the middle leg my other one was missing.

And I stopped by Blockbuster to again take advantage of their current trade-in deal...Xbox Star Wars Battlefront, like new, effectively $10.

A good start to the weekend!

Went to Gamestop today to get a couple of DualShocks for a trip with my cousins. They didn't have 2 DualShocks (Had to go to another Gamestop,) but they had a couple of nice finds.

Ok, just got back with a pretty big haul. Here's a little slideshow for anyone out there actually interested.

My son and I got up at 5:45 am and hit the road. First stop was a rinky dink flea market being held in a parking lot.

I figured the day would be a total wash when my first score is freaking Superman 64.

Anyway, the finds here were:

Superman 64 w/manual $1.00 (did I still overpay )

Next stop was another flea market about 30 miles away. Some good finds here!

Here's where things start to get hectic. I stop at a Wal-Mart on a hunch that there might be something worthwile on sale.

Gameboy Advance systems on clearance for $20.00 a pop. The cashier asked me how many I wanted. I said all of them.



Next stop was another Wal-Mart about 15 miles up the road. Hell at this point I'm stopping at every Wal-Mart I come across. I grabbed out of this one:

Our last stop was a one of my favorite flea market vendors. Since I was on a guide kick, I bought three off of him for $9.00

Holy Hell, Simply Dave! That's quite a haul! Is Ratchet & Clank 3 $15 at all wal-marts or is it a YMMV thing?

Anyways, I didn't get to hit the garage sales today because I had to take that god-forsaken SAT, but I still got some stuff:

I think overpaid a bit on Gekido, but I really wanted it so it's all good. I've got to remember to check out that Mr. Cheapo place more often. They didn't have much, but what they did have was extremely cheap. The Genesis games were all marked .99, SNES & NES were all $1.99, DC/PS1 were all $2.99, and PS2/XBOX/GCN were all $9.99. I guess they call it Mr. Cheapo for a reason!

So after I got the 64 I went to EBgames and got Perfect Dark sealed for 2 bucks:P
