    4 Ger?

    Damn.

For that kind of dough, couldn't you just make an existing room sound proof, so you have an entire room, rather than a little booth?

I wonder what it requires to make a room sound proof? I'm assuming the walls need to have a particular surface on them.

Anyways, 4 grand could buy alot of materials.

Just doesn't look big enough, I'd rather soundproof a room / the garage, at least then I'll get the space I'd need / want.

Surround Sound SUCKS when the speakers are less than 10 feet away from your ears. So whats the point of having a tiny little eyesore "room" where you can freely listen to today's loud, 5.1 enabled audio masterpieces... so you can sit a nice 3 feet away from those speakers, and lose out on the entire surround experience. And should you turn them up to the volumes you were forced to buy the room for, you'll become a proud member of the deaf community and never be able to "enjoy" this here "room" you purchased so you could listen to these things at said high volumes... again.
