Default How accurate is the Game Boy B & W Rarity List for relea

Specifically games that were released in the USA and NOT the UK. I want to buy some games from Telegames, but I am not sure if they are strictly UK or possible USA games they might have. Games such as Bonk's Revenge and Ninja Gaiden Shadow come to mind for Game Boy as well as Spider-Man 3, were those released at all in Europe?

Telegames is based in the UK, and I've never gotten a domestic US release from them. Ninja Gaiden Shadow is a great choice - it has a more balanced difficulty and better learning curve than the NES trilogy - beat it the other day, in fact

You're probably in a minority there then - I've heard many tales about people ordering rare PAL games from Telegames only to be sent a US copy instead and then having a real nightmare trying to get a refund. Ferchrissakes, they still list PAL 32X Primal Rage on their website!

The Non-US lists are not 100% complete. It was started after the online database went up and additional non-US games are being added during almost every update. Only games that I've been able to verify with a photo are being added, since there are a lot of US games and bootlegs available in Europe.

BTW Spider-man 3 was released in Europe and will be in the next update.

Great. I had better cancel my Spider-Man 3 order then!

Mike, please email me, I have a list of titles that I am ordering from them that I need to make sure of.

Ed Oscuro, they sell all sorts of USA stuff....the problem is, they won't take pics of the items. All I need to see is the logo. I have been buying more boxed/complete GB stuff from the UK these days than the USA and they are genuine USA releases. They imported a TON of USA games.

Heh, ordering Neo Geo games (and an arabic NG soundtrack) probably doesn't give me much reason to comment on their GB sales. Sorry about the misinformation!

They sent off some stuff to me. Hopefully it's good, or my CC company is going to make me cry.

Ed, I still have Dracula X hiding away for you.

blame me for the lack of completion on those lists, i promised to do it for GB and GBC (and GBA too), but only completed(?) GB, so, if i find the time, i'll do GBC too....

about GBA, we should probably use No-Intros GBA Rom DAT for it, they only include picture proved games too, so it's 99,9% accurate.... (of course it's missing undumped stuff!)

I've updated the GB list quite a bit since we were working on it and the GBC list is now online (though I'm still finding additional games).

I'm a little leary of it since some of the other Rom DAT files I've seen were riddled with errors, but if you can PM me a link I'll check it out.

If you select Game Boy Color and Non-US releases, you'll find 5 pages of Euro, Australia and Japan releases. It's far from complete since I only added photo verified games.
