    Default Importing a Nintendo DS

I was thinking of ordering a Nintendo DS from lik-sang or one of the others... When you get a Japanese DS - are the menus stuck in Japanese, or do you select the language like an iPod?

Basically, I want to get one of these:

US DS can let you select a language when you first turn it on when adjusting the user interface to your liking, but I dont know how it is for a JPN Model
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

I'm reasonably sure you can switch the Japanese DS to English, and even if you can't, there isn't much in the system menus that you'd REALLY need to read word for word in order to use it. And since the DS is 100% free of any kind of region lockout, you should be fine.

That's the same color I was wanting, but afte rlooking at the costs of Imports, I decided that it wasn't worth the price. I mean, considering you would be paying more for something that essentailly does the same exact thing. From what i can tell and the places i looked, it's a substantial amount more also. If you find one cheap enough, share the wealth. Otherwise, I think I'll be hoppingon the bandwagon of getting a Titanium one (for self) and an Electric Blue (for wife) along with free Mario 64 DS.
