"Super King Kong '99" Genesis / Megadrive - wtf?

Indeed, how does this thing play? Does it have rendered graphics or is it just a hack of some regular Megadrive game? I could see a hack of Pitfall or something like that being similar to DKC without the rendered graphics.

now its been a while since ive actually played any of the dkc games, but arent some of those shots on the box from dkc 2 and/or 3? i'd like to hear what it actually plays like (or what it even is )

I have the rom.. and it attempts to play like a DKC game, but not nearly as smooth, and it's pretty difficult.

erm the pix on the box are definately dkc3 so what do the real screens look like?

Wow, that's a really neat pirate. From the screens on the back of the box, it seems like they took all three DKC games and mashed them into one amalgamation of a game. That's DK from DKC 1 jumping over the rats from DKC 2 in a level from DKC 3! Maybe I'll try the rom later...
