Default How to straighten out warped manuals

OK, so say you have some horribly warped SCD manuals, and you dislike that 3D Look. You would love to get them straight again, But don't know how.

Well, i have a method that works very good.

    Just follow these steps:

1: Take that manual, Then put it on a table (Or any other straight surface - No, not outside)

2: Now, take a load of books. (I'm using 9 hardy boy books right now)

3: Stack the books on top of each other- As straight as you can.

4: Stack the books on top of the warped manual.

5: Wait several days to one week.

6: Don't let them get warped again.

    7: Don't worry, Be happy.

    8: Enjoy!

I hope that helps those of you who have a bunch of warped manuals.

Are Hardy Boys books necessary or can I use Nancy Drew novels? Perhaps a combination of the two?

Just put a good hard flat book or something on the manual and put lots of weight on the book or object above the manual and leave it there a few hours, overnight maybe, or longer if needed.

Is using a glazed ham permissible? It's fairly heavy.

Damn, you guys sho be fucking with Slate. Funny, but kinda mean. I actually kinda like his idea. Personally, I would use Dick Marcinko's Rogue Warrior books, because they are much more badass and with kick the shit out of those books until they straighten out.

if there are no stickers on the booklets, and they are completely dry, you can iron them flat, put them on the ironing board, put a thin flat tea towel over the top, and iron them flat, dont leave it in the one place for long though:P

i say no stickers, because i did a sms case insert which had one of those yellow stickers on it that has some numer on it, the sticker went completely dark green to black. but the case was stuffed otherwise, so it was worth it anyway.

Uuhhhh.....SuperNES.....I'm sorry but I just gotta ask.... What is up with having Colin as your avatar on this site? That is just plain flat out random sweetness! I like it though, don't get me wrong! I just have to ask because it is so random and strange! How long have you had that anyways?

Sorry to jack this thread that honestly does not need to exist here as it just explains some plain simple common sense ways to do a very easy task!

even if it is obvious, sometimes reading it motivates people to go and do it, i know there have been things i have thought "i should do that sometime" and then after finding someone else has done it online and has written how, somehow the need to do it myself greatens.
so even if every single person on this earth (doubtful) knows how to unwarp a manual, there is still some use to this.
