Default NEW E3 2002 Nintendo e-Reader Card Promo Pack w/ Kirby card

    Check out my auction:
E3 2002 Nintendo e-Reader Card Promo Pack w/ Kirby Card UNOPENED & FACTORY SEALED! The rarest e-Reader cards!!

I know there are a few e-Reader aficionados here who might be interested in this...

According to the Collector's Closet column in the May 2005 issue of Tips & Tricks, it's the rarest North American e-Reader card pack ever made, and very hard to find nowadays. I haven't seen any on eBay forever. Might I add that the issue of Tips & Tricks with full-page feature on the cards is included in the auction, a perfect collector's companion piece!

I agree its a rare pack almost all were opened right there and then for a chance to win the prizes at E3. I must have grabbed 50 or so packs but only kept one unopened. BTW I didn't win shit in any of those packs and with my luck the one winner is in my unopened pack

Nice pack. I only bought the e-Reader for the promo Air Hockey game.

I wish there was a program to convert ROMS into e-Reader format.

I still want an E-Reader, sadly they never released it in Europe.

I didn't even notice there was a contest that went along with the e-Reader cards that year at E3. Otherwise I probably would have opened these and used em instead of chucking them in the schwag bag!

I think it says so right on the pack. You pulled out the kirby card and swiped it on an e-reader machine. They had 3 prizes. Wavebird controller, gba or gba sp,and something else. None of the prizes were up to "museum standards" today but some of it was stuff you couldn't get for a few weeks.

Just out of curiosity, were there any e-Reader exclusive games made by Nintendo? You know, simple NES style things like Ice Climber...

I didn't notice any giveaways at Nintendo's booth this year, btw. About the closest thing they had to this e-Reader type thing was the downloadable DS demo station...

    NICE!

I got to find my pack and put it up. $100+ is awesome.

Yes, I was quite happy that the auction ended in three figures.

The funny thing is that I'm finally appreciating Kirby as a Nintendo character after playing Canvas Curse on the DS this week, and I just auctioned off his rarest item. Oh well!
