Back on topic though, sad to see the store fold. Independent gamestores just don't work usually any more, Gamestop and EBgames are to big. What really stinks is that is a nice looking store. I really like the looks of the inside.

The only reason I had originally stuck it in the other forum was to be next to Joe's topic about opening a store.. I was originally gonna post it as a reply in his topic but decided against it.

I know what you mean. It's a very hard business. I had to close down my video game store on the May Long Weekend. I thought being near 7-11 would help, but it didnt. The kids went there to spend their disposebale income (allowance) rather than my store. But oh well, I had a 13-month run at owning my own store, and had some good memories. Fun stuff. I shudder to think of how much money I lost though.. (a lot... about 15 grand).
