    Default Game Gear Rarities?

Ok, this might be a stupid question... but are the TV Tuner and Master System converter rare at all?

I personally never saw the TV Tuner sell for under $200 in shops back in the day, and I didn't even KNOW there was a way to play Master System games on the Game Gear.

Just wondering... also, sorry if this is the wrong forum for a question like this.

TV Tuner may fetch $25-$35, while the Master Gear Converter...maybe $15?

    seems about right these prices...

However a boxed TV tuner can go for alot more IMO
Also the very top part of the aerial is very fragile and i find most of the tuners u find are missing these...

Either way they are both nice additions to any GG collection...

The only super-rare Game Gear item that I know of is the White one, that came in the special case w/white accessories.

Keep in mind that the TV tuner won't work in newer Game Gear's (inlcuidng the Blue one) or the later Majesco re-release of the system. This is according to several Gamefaqs (including the "REAL" Game Gear Faq)

Evidentally the convertor works in all GG's

With a white TV tuner; didn't come with a Master Gear converter.

Well thankfully the guy that traded this in kept REALLY good care of them.

The TV Tuner is in mint condition with the manual still and the aerial is still fine. It's long as hell though. It works 100% too. Same with the Master Gear Converter.
