    Default Weekend Finds - July 9 & 10

Arrived in the post this morning...

    Fighters Destiny - N64 - Loose
    Sega World Tournament Golf - SMS - Complete/Mint - R7! Cost just £1.20
Super Off Road - SMS - R6 - No manual
Great Football - SMS - R6 - Needs some cleaning - Cost just 99 pence. (edit: nice and clean, now).

Oh, and my factory sealed copy of Freestyle Scooter for Dreamcast (R7) arrived too. Don't know whether to open that or not.

Open it! Open it! Be the first, smell the sealed goodness! You know you want to! ...and then I remember all those PCEngine Duo games that dropped $100 because I opened them.

Give yourself a time period of say, 4 months. If you don't find one in the wild or a cheap one on ebay, open it and play your heart out.

Riding through North Carolina yesterday for work, I found Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (DVD) and Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow (DVD) for $5 each at Movie Time.

Then, this morning I found a mighty clean PSX with an RF switch and AV cable ($5), an NES Advantage (50 cents), a sealed Game Players: How to Win at Nintendo Games VHS tape (25 cents), a green PSX Justifier gun (50 cents) and an Interact PSPro gamepad (50 cents).

Sometimes, it just doesn't pay to wake up early on a Saturday morning...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I went back out with my dad and my sister to get some lunch. I went to this local fuzzy friends thrift shop called "the Barkin' Basement" I found a Cincinatti Pops Cd while digging in a bunch of cd's. At the front they have a display where they put their meager game selection. They do have a large amount of cd's in there(Which I will plan on digging through some time). I spotted a copy of Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures, a game I had been looking for for quite a while. They ended up charging me 81 cents for the game and the cd! I also went a Goodwill where I found a copy of Pilotwings for $1.99 which was a good deal for me because I had been wanting that game to play on my SNES.

    OH. MY. GOD.

    The Barkin' Basement!

    Thanks, that made my day.

    EDIT:

When they rang you up and you paid, you should have responded with "WHAT A BARKIN'" and let out a "WOOF!". I bet the employee would have given you a dramatic thumbs up!

I don't normally post my finds, but I managed to fill in a lot of holes today at the flea market. So, I can't help but share.
    • ASCIIware Super Advantage ($7)
    • NES Advantage ($4)
    • Mario Paint ($3)
    • Excitebike ($2)
    • 4 manuals ($1)
    • Diddy Kong ($0.50)

These might not seem like good deals to you (especially you, tholly... $7?!), but they definitely were for me. Everything is in spic and span condition, except for one manual.
