Batman, Genesis... help!

I'm stuck in level 2.

There's a stack of boxes that are too high to jump over very early in the level. The grapple doesn't do anything. Punching them doesn't do anything. How do I get past them??

Hookshot onto the piece of pipe which is up and to the left (it's gold). Once on top of that, double jump to the right. See if that helps!

Which Batman is it? I'm playing Batman Returns and I'm having trouble with catwoman right at the start. I suck. I've gotten past before but it was hard.

I had this exact same problem when first playing the game. Believe it or not, someone else I know had this problem too. I guess it's a semi-infamous moment in the gaming world now. :P

So, who did the soundtrack... according to the credits, Naoki Kotaka. I wonder if he's the main music man of Sunsoft... if so, a BIG kudos to Mr. Kotaka for pushing the NES sound chip to its limit.

Batman here does have an awesome soundtrack, my personal favorite being the Flugelheim Museum BGM. That's the type of schtuff to kick ass to!
