Cowboy Bebop for PS2 - New Product Info & In Game Movie
Finally some information has surfaced about this game! I've been waiting for a long time for this to come out. Apparently it will be released in August in Japan and will be following by a US released on October.
No details on the story yet (that I have found) but it takes place during the course of the series (obviously - if you've watched the entire series you'll know what I mean).
It looks a lot better than the Japan-only PS1 game (which was not very good). The gameplay looks really varied with puzzle solving, exploring, action/fighting, first person shooting, flight missions in the Swordfish II (Spike's jet) and more. The movie (at the link below) shows that you get to play as multiple characters including Spike, Jet & Faye - I did not see anything about playing Ed or Ein (playing as Ein would be awesome! Even if it was something silly like a comic relief level where you have to find dog food or something). ^_^
There will also be a limited edition release of the game in japan that will include a shirt, OST CD, cell phone straps & more - limited to 10,000 qty. I might take the plunge.
