Does anyone have any old VG mag scans? I'm looking for scans of full issues, pre-1990, of any mag. I have some full issue scans of Joystik, VGCE and Atari Age, but that's all I could find online. These could be for trade if needs be.

mh no sorry i don't know any sites with mag scans, BUT i am working on some, but they are mainly 1991-1995 (16-bit era) AND they are german, so they won't be of any use to u
I'm working on archiving the complete run of Odyssey 2 Adventure. You can already see a couple of issues here - and hopefully more are on the way!
I always scan mags. But rarely anything "in full". Whatchoo looking for?

I'm really looking for anything from the North American market, the full package deal in other words: ads, articles, interviews, readers' letters, etc. For instance, I love reading the old readers' letters from VGCE circa 1992 because there was the whole Genesis vs. SNES debate ("which one is the best of the two?").
aah so you're looking for stuff from that era. Yeah I got letters from the 5200 vs. Colecovision days on down. Unfortunately the majority of my NES/Genesis/tg-16/SNES era mags are at my mom's house thousands of miles away. I do have some here though. I'll see what I can dig upOriginally Posted by Lady Jaye

I think I got my scans from the same place you did Lady Jaye, at least the Joystiks anyway. I didn't get the VG&CE-what site were those at again?
All I have is a stack of Color Computer magazines that I want to archive: Rainbow magazine and Hot Coco. All my other game magazines got moisture damage.
BTW, thanks Phosphore Dot Fossils for the link to your site and your Odyssey2 mag scans. I'll be one step closer to what I'm looking for...
For you see, English-language second hand bookstores are relatively few in Montreal, and those that exist don't always carry old videogame magazines. So i thought that digital copies would be a good alternative (and one that doesn't take nearly as much physical space!).
@YoshiM: I got the scans of VGCE at http://www.afn.org/~afn04314/mag_vg&ce.htm
Be aware that there's a url mistake in the link to the scans for the third issue in the first row of mags (April 1991). It should be http://dinosaur-act.ath.cx:8000/mags/vgce/vgce_91-04/ (the guy got mixed up in his method of listing the year in the url).[/url]
