We're a month away from CGE, and still no confirmation of the guests that will be present. When will we know? I can't wait to see the list!!! (I still regret missing out on Woz's presence there...)

So, after his talk, I wanted to bring this up to him, but in the throng of autograph seekers and his retinue trying to pull him away for something else, I managed to stand next to or very close anyway for like 5-10 minutes without ever being able to get his attention to tell the story.

Got any obscure game stuff?
I should be able to get to it this weekend. Plenty of guests on hand, including some first-time CGE speakers!
Got a jump on it, the site is now updated!Originally Posted by digitalpress
Keep in mind that we get more than half of our confirmations just a week or two prior to the show. There are a tremendous number of local guests in that area (much of the reason for moving the show there last year). We fully anticipate 60+ guests and a dozen keynote speeches on tap for the weekend!

David Crane, baby!!! I smell an autograph on my copy of "A Boy and his Blob"!! W00000
Man, you got Garry Kitchen too? Damn! I'll bring Keystone Kapers and Pressure Cooker, too.
After reading through the rest of the list, sounds like I'll be bringing a lot of games in an attempt to get some autographs...

I think that, for the Activision guys, I'll kill several birds with one stone and bring my copy of Activision Anthology for PS2. Not quite the same as the original games, I know, but close enough...
I'll also have to bring my copy of Once Upon Atari to have it signed by HSW.
And I'll have to say hi to Bob Polaro. I wonder if he remembers me from PhillyClassic 3?

For what it's worth, this year's early guest list is on display at the CGE web site:

...and I'm already pumped about it. Al Alcorn wasn't present in 2003, so even if he's told everyone else the same old stories, he hasn't told 'em to me.
Also good to see folks like Howard Warshaw, Steve Woita, Ed Rotberg, Keith Robinson & Ed Logg making a showing again. Sure, maybe they're year-to-year fixtures, but it's almost like catching up with old friends!
'Scuse me, I gotta go charge my camera batteries.
