    Default Have you REALLY ever broken a controller in anger?

    C'mon! We've all heard about it, but have you thrown a controller against the wall/tv/pet and actually broken it? And if so, what system was it for?

    Me? Nope. I've been pissed, but I love my video games too much to break them.

    No, I've never broken one in anger though I did break one (an Epyx controller, I think, but I forget for which system) just from regular gameplay. I must've put so much pressure on that sucker, it snapped in my hands.

    Yes, I have and I described it in another thread. However, I can't seem to find it at the moment.

    I can't even count how many controllers I've busted over the years. 2600, NES, SNES, Dual Shocks. The last one I busted was about 3 months ago while playing Halo 2. It's an expensive habit but it feels sooooo good after I do it.

    The only controller I haven't busted yet is a GameCube but that's because I hardly ever use it.

    Yeah, I've got issues.

    I got mad, swung my saturn controller like a lasso, and then swung it onto the floor and the dpad popped out, but i just popped it back in, so I didnt really break it i guess
