well, one of the proposed guidelines when considering console life was seeing products consistently released on at least a yearly basis. Game Boy Games (not GBC or GBA games) were last released in September of 2001, with Dragon Warrior Monsters 2: Tara's/Colbi's adventure. So the lifespan of the GB would be 2 years and one month.
