Just one day after getting my sexy DP shirt.. I get three packages that are ALMOST as sexy as the shirt:

    Package 1:

    Package 2:

Caltron was from captainintendo, NFL Blitz SE was from pacmanhat and World Series Major League Baseball was from a guy on AtariAge.

Getting Caltron 6-in-1 puts a huge dent in my list... As does another boxed R5 for the N64.

Now, with World Series Major League Baseball for the Intellivison in my collection, I am only 6 games away from completing the library.

I went over to a thift store, the Barkin Basement, I looked through the cd's I said they had (on an earlier weekly finds thread) I found these for $2.00 eachtell me if any of these pc games are any good)
The Best of Erich Kunzel & the Cincinatti Pops
    Forbidden Forest 3
    Everquest
    King's Quest: Mask of Eternity

They have an area with a lot of outdated pc stuff and vhs's my sister went ahead of me and went to a shelf with pc controllers and SHE REACHED IN THERE AND DUG OUT A NINTENDO DOGBONE CONTROLLER!!!(the one for the top loader!) I'm so jealous!
I also found an Epyx 500xj controller for Nes. It has a rarity of 0 in the guide. How rare is it? Please Nes experts tell me. :/

They're fairly common. Obviously not as common as a regular NES pad, but a cool find nonetheless.
Its kind of annoying to use though... and its really delicate, so don't drop it on the floor or anything.

I got a couple of things.

    For NES:
Final Fantasy (with instructions, no box) - FREE!

    For Genesis:
Operation Europe: Path to Victory 1939-45 (loose) - $4 (R6!)

Some other stuff too, including a box of free NES games, but nothing else worth mentioning.

I decided to check out a swap meet (even though I never have any luck at those darn things), and came back slightly disappointed. I bought the only three games I could find at a reasonable price that I needed.

Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures- SNES, 3 dollars loose
    Time Pilot- Colecovision 1.50 loose
(Japanese) Starfox- Super Famicom 4.50 loose

I could not believe the high prices some of these places had. Something is wrong with a swap meet when the average price of a SNES sports game is 7 dollars...

Also yesterday I went to a local indie game store and bought Krull for Atari VCS. I paid 7 dollars for the loose cartridge, but he wouldn't accept anything less.
I like monkeys...and poop...and monkeys that poop...and play video games

Nice finds for me this week

I found a hole in the wall EB Games, and loaded up on some NES goodness. Yoshi, Skull & Crossbones, and Xevious were mine for under ten bucks.
Then I stopped at Gamestop and got a complete unboxed Pikachu N64! It's in excellent condition, and judging by the shape of the controller, it was hardly played with (AC adapt. and the AV cords aren't in the photo). Not bad for twenty bones!

I did something completely against all my principles.. actually paid more than $30 for a PS2 game.. the horror.

PS2 Devil May Cry 3 new at K-Mart for $AUS44

I have been wanting it rather badly since it came out, though, and until today it was $AUS98 or so.

Got these in the mail from Joe... err... I mean "Liz Santulli" today..

They were part of the "imperfect" guides that Joe was selling... They look pretty freaking perfect to me.

I'm not sure if any of this counts as a "find" but I'll post it anyway.

    Mario Sunshine £8

Some Megadrive games from Cauterize the other day
    Marko's Magic Football complete

My dad took me over to the salvation army to see the dock sale. I picked up some miscellaneous items including Arthur: The Quest for Excalibur Macintosh version for $2. I saw the PC one go on ebay for $103. Is this game rare? I also went back to Barkin' Basement and found a Tomy Verbot for $3(can't get it to work ) I also found a Mega Fire Controller, Genesis AC Adaptor, some PS1 A/V Jacks, and a Genesis RF Hook-up for $1 each.

Went looking for some penny guides today and got the following:

    Duel Masters: Sempai Legends
    Full Spectrum Warrior
    Madden 2005
    Sonic Heroes
    Urbz: Sims in the City

    5 cents total.

Actually found something decent in a second hand store which is very rare around here. Also had a few games waiting for me when I got home too.
