    Default 3DO keeps blowing fuse

Anyone know why my 3DO keeps blowing fuses? Every time I put another one in...it does it again after about 20-30mins...

    Thanks!

Your internal power supply is bad. You need to replace it. Not easy. Parts are the main issue.

im using a higher amp fuse and it seems to work good now but since the 3DO is plugged into same wall as my pc it messes my moniotr up. and now i just found out 3D games on my PC lock up or have garbled grafx. great! all because of this 3DO being plugged into the same outlet. so i moved the 3do into another room where it cant mess up any other electrical appliances. the fuse in it that first blew was what i though a 1 amp fuse so thats what i replaced it with and it blew. then i read on some other forums that it uses 3.15amp so thats what im using now. anyone know anything else about this. i think my power supply is fine. if using a higher amp fuse than what's it supposed to use be ok?

ALWAYS use the proper rated fuse. IF you use a misrated fuse, and you are lucky, it blows.

    If you are unlucky, fire.

well the original fuse that blew had this written on it:

    T1AL250V

i assumed that meant 1 amp. i bought a pack of 1amp fuses and that blew too.

but then i read in a forum where someone had the same problem. the guy who responded said replace with a 3.15amp fuse.

the 3.15 amp fuse works but when i was testing the 3do i at one point booted my computer which is plugged into the same outlet. my graphics card driver became corrupted because of a power surge or something since the 3DO was powered on at the time! i had to do a driver rollback. the screen was garbled and warped until i did. wierd stuff. so now im just gonna play the 3do in a completely seperate room. does anyone know for sure what amp fuse the 3DO uses?
