Web site needs updating?

Just wanted to drop a note about the CGE website.

The Volunteers Page:
Are you still preferring Las Vegas locals to hand out flyers for CGE? Because they're going to have a loooong way to travel.

The Location Page:
Are you still going to keep it San Jose centric? Wouldn't it be better to make it more Burlingame-San Francisco centric?

The Sponsors Page:
The Supporting web sites at the bottom still says CGE 2004, but the banner is the 2005 version.

I think you better start calling the hotel the "San Francisco Airport Hyatt Regency" instead of the San Francisco Hyatt because there are not one, but two Hyatt Regencys in San Francisco. People may actually get confused with the downtown and airport Hyatts and end up at the wrong place.

I've been known to be a stickler for details.

I don't see the mention you're talking about.

Hmm, that's odd. I stumbled upon it, so maybe it's a page that still exists but that isn't normally accessible (like a no-longer-used sub-URL)? In any case, if it's not visible on the site itself, then nevermind.

The general schedule will be online Saturday or Sunday but I can tell you now that it's the same as last year: 9am-6pm on Saturday, followed immediately by a two hour auction. Sunday is 10pm-5pm.

Do you mean the speaking schedule? If so, that will be online by Sunday.

If you mean the entertainment schedule, that's already online, at http://www.cgexpo.com/entertain.htm

You guys also might want to reply to the site e-mail now and then. I sent something a few weeks ago and haven't gotten a reply. And someone who called themselves a vendor posted to the yahoo group saying that they couldn't get anyone to respond.

Which e-mail? I check it several times a day. Let me know what you need.

The vendor you're referring to is from GAMGATOR2000 - he may have had a tough time getting us early on but once CGE season kicked in we're very prompt with responses.

That one's intentional (for the same reason I left the Nolan Bushnell appearance of 2003 in the CGE2k4 "old news").

By the way, there's still a good chance Woz will be at the show this year as well - I just don't like putting the names on the site until they're 100% confirmed.
