Default Who's Spent The Most Time In The DP Arcade?

Whoa...I just happened to look and see that I have now logged in 150 hours in the DP arcade...and that's just since they started keeping track of this stat. Does anyone else have as much or more time? Why do I have so much? Well, I've been playing those games instead of console games for awhile...I'm off work (have been for over a month now) and live alone so I've plenty of time. In honor of hitting the 150 hour plateau I'm now going to try to stay out of the arcade for 24 hours from the time this message is posted...

It's insand how high the jackpot for Yahtzee has gotten...over 40,000 meseta! The amount of games for that does seem to be slowing down, though. I think most people realize the current top score will never be beaten...

nope I know I will beat the top score

I got close today if i would have been alittle more careful with what I chose for my points I would have gotten it,

but I do believe it is possible to beat the top score, really hard but still possible.

    yikes.

you definitely trump my 65-or-so hours with your 150. most of my playing has been limited to zoo keeper and the various forms of mahjong though....

I got 9 hours in.. but a lot of that is idle time. I start a game then surf elsewhere. I used to have 2 trophies but now it looks like I'll have to take back my Pacman one sometime soon since the pot is getting pretty nice

Some of my time might be surf like that, too...start a game...check another browser window...back to the game. I've played about 40 different games but I usually wind up returning to the same games. Speaking of Pac-Man, how the heck do you earn any meseta on that? I've scored over 70,000 points on that a couple of times and still haven't gotten any meseta for any game on it, as far as I know.

I am going on 22 hours. And I got paid for it, considering I mostly play the games while at work. It is a win win situation, unless I get cought.

I play only a few games as my computer is a bit too old for most games. Still got three trophys, I think I will lose my Radioactive Snake as it played horrible with the slowdown, but still I have the Trophy. The trophy for Global Player can't be taken as I played a perfect game, alchemy is possible, but that game is too long so I stopped after playing it for an hour.

Use the slow down to your advantage! As long as the game is not too jerky, having the game slowed down could be a huge plus in a lot of cases. Cheater!

If I remember correctly, jgenotte has logged over 1,100 hours in the arcade.

As for myself, I've only played about 20 hours so far. I wait for the moment when I've spent an entire day in the arcade.

At full speed that's always hard. I read somewhere in most pac-mans there are 256 levels before the memory dies out. and a perfect score is something like 3,360,500

You're talking about Pac-Man arcade machines there. I'm not sure those rules apply to this version. Since no one here even has a half-million points (so far), we'll probably never have to worry about that anyway. Yesterday I got up to 3rd place on Pac-Man. That's pretty good for me.

Correction: I made a mistake above...I recently moved up to 4th place on Pac-Man, not 3rd. Fourth place is still pretty good, though. I have gone over 80,000 points on that now so perhaps hitting 100K on it isn't beyond my reach. I don't remember what my high score on an actual arcade Pac-Man game is...probably not that high.

DAMN! Are we sure that Jgenotte didn't just leave his computer on while he was in the Arcade? Cause that is almost 5 months or hours right there, which seems almost impossible considering the Arcade isn't that old at all.

Yep.. You are talking about a totally different game my friend. You're thinking of the arcade version. The one here on DP is a flash remake. 100% different
