Does this game exist?
I've heard rumors of it's existance in Brazil, and I believe I once saw an Ebay auction for this game, it went for over $300, but there was no photo in the auction.
Anyone know anything about this one??

I've heard of it as well, and I've seen it on E-bay, too (that auction had a picture on it... went for crazy money, I believe.)
I asked a friend/trader in Brazil who got me some of the TecToy games (X-Men, Street Fighter 2, MK3, etc) about Thundercats, Primal Rage, Fire & Ice, Gunstar Heroes, and Woody Woodpecker. He had never seen them (or even heard of them) but said he still found things that he didn't know existed. Try the TecToy website (sorry I can't provde the link...) maybe they can help you out there (as they would have been the ones to release it.)

I got in contact with the winner of a couple of the rare SMS auctions a while back. He had won both Thundercats and Gunstar Heroes (and paid through the nose for them), and he had said that Gunstar Heroes was good, but Thundercats really sucked.
I still have his email address, and this thread got me thinking about these games again, so I just fired off an email to him asking for some more info on both games. I'll keep you posted on what I get...
What I wonder the most about the game; is it an original game, a hack of something like Wonderboy 3, or is it a port of the game that came out for Atari and Amiga and possibly a few other computers around 1989?
I wanted one as well but I haen't heard of any solid proof the game actually exists other than a picture.
(stolen image from the first eBay auction of this game)
Someone at SMS Dev board tried to get the game for dumping but the bidding went crazy.
I wanted one and I was ready to throw my $250 for it but it also went much higher. I haven't tried since then. It's much cheaper to build your own EPROM cart or SMS RAM cart (like that Mike SMS Reader) than to get that game. Now if only someone would dump the game I'd be very happy Thundercats fan.
(For now all I have is the C64 and Amerstand version of the game to play)
Maybe a couple emails to people who signed the guestbook on this site might get to the bottom of this. I'm sure some of them speak english. Or maybe someone here speaks brazilian portuguese. Interesting site anyway: http://masterland.2x.com.br/

, that's a picture someone made up from an old Monica de rescue game, look at the side panels of the game and all, and look at the fake label. Have you guys ever wondered why the SAME bidder with 0 feedback won both auctions? . Gunstar Heroes and Thundercats, lol. I have Fire and Ice, and the Woody Woodpecker game, the latter coming out on Mega Drive in brazil as well.
I emailed with someone from Brazil who has his own Tec Toy fan site (Tec Toy Forever, http://www.tectoy-forever.cjb.net ) and he was able to get confirmation from Tec Toy themselves. SMS version of Thundercats don't exists. It's a hoax.
