what's with the strict "USA" only rules? Funny how you got one of the games from Israel, but won't ship outside the states.

I have these games. I didnt even remove the shrinkwrap aroud the 1-6 collection, just on the top Larry is one of my favorite series. I think I like Larry 3 the most.

Yea, only USA shipping sux. Eliminates many bids from pontential buyer. But its your auction

Meanwhile the $12.99 domestic priority mail shipping fee scares away local bidders as well.

I do apologize, but from my experience in 7+ years of ebay selling, international shipping can be a roll of the dice -- and when you're talking about a lot that's going to need an oversized box to go out in (and could go for a decent price), it's too much of a worry for me that it's going to get there.

As you can see from my feedback, do a lot of Ebay selling and even when I've moved small packages via Air Mail, the results have been extremely unpredictable.

I recently one DVD take 9 WEEKS to get to England, and it was shipped the more expensive, supposedly "faster" Air Mail (not economy mail). By the time that experience was over for me, the buyer sent nasty emails, doubted I had ever shipped it, couldn't believe there were delays of that magnitude....it was more insult than injury quite honestly.

Obviously it worked out fine in the end, but I just don't feel comfortable selling a lot like this -- in an oversized box -- and having it go anywhere other than, say, Canada.

I assume I could have it go out tracked, international Global Priority, but by that point -- with the weight and such -- I think you'd be talking upwards of $30 or more for some territories...guess I didn't think there'd be many takers on shipping of that nature.

If anyone from the DP board is interested and don't mind paying for Global Priority ship on this box, contact me directly at phantomfriar2002@yahoo.com or through the auction, and we can discuss it.

That's exactly why I have the Media Mail option ALSO available.

But I realize there are some who want Priority, and between the 2 books, the box for the Collection, the discs, and the box it's going to ship it in, that's EXACTLY what it would cost to ship it Priority Mail.

I have bought maybe 300+ items from USA and only 1 have got lost in the mail. I live in Europe. If a DVD takes 9 weeks to arrive its either been sent as surface mail or something have fucked up at the customs or simular.

Well it sure didn't go out surface. It probably IS the latter -- and my ratio of delays versus yours, sadly, is a lot more scattershot with fewer items.

Like I said if there are any international DP'ers who wouldn't mind paying for Global Priority I WILL do it. Just contact me through the auction. I'll have the box weighed again and go thru the options at the post office today.

VACRMH -- cancelled your bid so I could revise the description re: international ship (and unfortunately it's not even letting me do that, lol, even though there currently aren't any bids. Oh well!).

Anyway, international shipping IS available everybody, so bid away

Ye, but its more of a myth that shipping overseas "always" go wrong. Or maybe someone had very bad luck hehe.
How much is shipping to Europe you think?

I've had a couple of items in the past sent airmail from the US end up for some reason go surface instead. I know the sender in both cases paid for airmail because I checked the postage cost on the label when they arrived. So USPS fucked up basically. It can happen. It's probably what happened with the DVD here. One of the items took 3 months to get here, so 9 weeks was short by comparison :P

just send every international package via express mail. period. if the buyer pays via paypal, it's about the only way you're protected from them not doing a chargeback.

    Scooby, thanks for the input.

Sample rates to the UK, for example:

Global Priority is roughly $20 (variable weight package under 4 lbs; it weighs about 2 lbs. 4 oz). Express is about $15 more, or just about $35 after it's packed up.
