Bomberman World (PSX) with PS2 multi tap?

Is there anything special I should be doing here to make this work? The multitap refuses to work with this game. Know anything I can try?

Yeah, I tried this too and had the same problem. The thing is that a PS2 multitap will only work with PS2 software. You need to hook up a PS1 multitap and everything will work fine. You will need to make sure you only hook PS1 controllers into the PS1 multitap. Games like Bomberman Party for PS1 support 5 players. On a PS2, I use a PS2 controller in port 1 and a PS1 Multitap with 4 PS1 controllers in port 2. That seems to work fine.
