My collection IS taking up the entire apartment....and my girlfriend lives with me. It's a good thing she is extremely organized, and puts up with it. She does have around 1,000 books though, and we have around 500 DVDS and 800 CDS too. Ugh...I don't know how we have room to walk around in that house sometimes!

Everyone keeps asking me for pics...I'm pretty sure they are going to be published in a magazine before they go online per their request.. I never had any inclination to try and take a bunch of pics until recently...and even those are not very good...

I wouldn't mind a picture of your NGPC collection.

Okay, I'm personally wondering who has the largest collection that has never worked in some type of video game related profession in their life (retail, etc...)

    SNES collector:
I need International Superstar Soccer (not DELUXE)
    Mario's Fun with Letters
    Miracle Piano
    Xterminator
    XZONE
    Super Goal 2
    World Cup 94
    Obitus
and FLintstones (not the Ocean version)

I would say all of them are complete except for 150 which are loose.

Also, I had around 800-1000 games by the time I was 18, and had not worked in any game profession. That was over ten years ago. It's not like most of these were "freebies" or anything, I was just more up to date on things 1998-2005.

I have never worked in any video game related environment

so everything i collected was on the outside - the hard way

I would like to work for sony though - even though as a gameing fan i dislike the company, but as an engineer i would realy like to work at a company that produces so much stuff - you can just imagine up crap and try it out becasue they have AND manufacture everything you need for that - video games to stereo lithography machines what a dream -

but if could choose any company my first choice would not be sony

Well, it's good that you've got the rares over with. I've never heard of Xterminator, was that a typo? And what other version of the Flintstones was there besides the ocean one?

    Taito produced a game called:

Flintstones The Treasure of Sierra Madrock.

I guess you are right on X-Terminator. It's on my freaking Game Dude list, and I forgot that they are notorious for having titles listed (like Bobby's World) that were never released.

    So do doubles count?
    how about prototypes?
    How about systems?

There are a few titles I have hundreds of? Does that count as 1 or several hundred?

I sold quite a few off in the past two years but I still have quite alot left. I never counted it all but to give you some idea, I do know I have over 10,000 extra empty snes/sega/gboy boxes, over 2000 prototypes (mostly disk based) and somewhere between 350-400 N64 systems.

Of course, in many eyes owning two stores will disqualify me.

Just counted up for a similar thread...as of today, I'm at 4555 unique games in my collection. I may hit 5000 sometime next year, but 10,000...probably not in my lifetime.

On the contrary i most likely have one of the lowest (250-300) but I supose it's not bad for a 14 year old.
Yeah it's extremely difficult at such a young age. I'm only 16 and have 230ish games, and even that's taken years to reach.
Meh... its not THAT hard. I'm 19, only been collecting for a year, and I've got 1100. If anything, I think its easier. No rent, no buying food, no buying clothes. All my income goes to video games.
I started collecting when I was 14, starting with my PSX and 5 games, adn as of now, at age 21, I have 522 Unique games, with 296 game sin my trade box

I had over 700 in my collection, but to get some cash and to free up some space, I started to weed out the games in my collection that didnt stand up to my standards for that particular system for completeness, etc.

hrmm I have thousands of games for nearly every system...but I also collect transformers power rangers and tons of 80s toylines and have most of those complete..

my whole apartmetn is completely filled with all the stuff, plus a ton of its still at my parents house....so I guess mine is pretty freaking huge but for videogames i'm proably at about 10k+ never counted really

only have about 4-5 protos in the pile but overall I'm proud of the collection :-)
