They are even including a free Astro Boy game.
Anyway I wasn't sold on the gb micro until I saw this famicom design. Damn it, 1 more gameboy to buy.

Ouch $129.99 though. I hope the US version isn't that much, you can get a DS for that price.
That is really nice. I hope they introduce a NES one here. I may just have to wait until that one comes out before I buy one.
Theres a new faceplate for the famicom version so you can have it looking like control pad II instead of pad I.
However theres a catch it's only available through club nintendo for 200 points.
& here it is installed in the famicom edition gameboy micro.
Has it been confirmed whether or not the Gameboy Micro (GBM) is backwards compatible with the Gameboy Color? Also, do the swappable face covers protect the screen? I had predicted a long time ago that they would make faceplates that were Famicom and NES controller themed, as they GBM is shaped like a Famicom or NES controller.
I hope the screen is more visible in bright sunlight, which is a problem with the current GBASP. Also, I hope the GBM fits a bit better in my pants pocket than a GBASP.
The answers are no and no. No it will not be BW compatible. No the covers do not protect the screen.Has it been confirmed whether or not the Gameboy Micro (GBM) is backwards compatible with the Gameboy Color? Also, do the swappable face covers protect the screen?
So...it's a downgrade? Weird...The answers are no and no. No it will not be BW compatible. No the covers do not protect the screen.

Who told you the faceplate dosent protect the screen as its false.
The glass lcd screen is safely behind the faceplate, if the faceplate gets scratched then you just pop it off and put a new one on.
See how the gap where the screen shows through is a tiny bit darker, thats because its got plastic covering it.
WiseSalesman's response to my post. Just scroll up. I hope it isn't true, and I also hope that the lack of backwards compatibility is also not true. I really wanted to get a GBM, but not if it has the aforementioned flaws.Originally Posted by importaku
