You will not be forgotten.
I'm guessing this is the prototype translation of the Famicom game Atlantis no Nazo, probably just with a different (English) title screen since the games text is already in English...Originally Posted by DreamTR

I've read reports that it was auctioned off on eBay, ie...

How about you offer an honest roundabout price quote to the guy who knew what it was?
I did get it on eBay about 5 years ago...there should be pics on The Warp ZOne...
Price? I don't have one in mind unless someone makes me a really good offer...
PM sent!
OMG REPLIED!
Think I just helped you with a sale. If someone does buy the Super Pitfall II proto - to quote Indiana Jones, "it belongs in a museum." What I mean is that even though it's not the greatest game in the world, it needs to be dumped to preserve its place (and fill in yet another gap) in NES history.Originally Posted by DreamTR

InsaneDavid, I doubt anyone is going to buy it...as for "dumping" it, if they want to devalue the cart, that's fine by me...does not matter on my end, but the interest level is random with something like this. It is "preserved" if someone dumps it. Releasing it is a whole other issue. I'm not going to get into that whole argument anyway, but I just wanted to se what the interest was. The picture of the Super Pitfall title screen you have is from my television!
BTW, BUMP and new things added!
I fully agree with you, I was just curious if this was the one copy that I had read about and seen online - which it is. I've done lots of romset research over the past couple years and this perticular cart stuck in my mind for one reason or another.Originally Posted by DreamTR

Plenty of free bumps in the end I suppose.
No it's fine, I don't mind it all. I had pictures taken for a reason, and I want people to know about the cart. It is apart of NES history!
Now please buy GAME BOY GAMES!
