Default Hardest Intellivision games to find??

I know that some wise ass will say "check the guide!", but without the guide, and time being a crucial factor here, is there anyone on this board who knows what Intellivision carts (complete with manuals, overlays and boxes) would be the most important to pick up?

The reason I ask is that I have limited funds, but about 60+ to choose from. They are all priced at $1.99, so I need to pick up the biggest steals available.

Isn't there anyone on this board who knows about this system?

Here are the 20 rarest Intellivision carts. However, pretty much anything but Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack and Major League Baseball would be worth $1.99 complete.

There is a local chain of game stores here in Austin, TX. They don't like to waste space with old games, so they price them to move - sealed 2600/Intellivision games go for $3.99, open/complete games go for $1.99.

Yesterday, I got a MINT, complete boxed Q*Bert's Qubes for the 2600 for $1.99!!

Thing is, they rarely get new stuff. That's why I have to be quick, because they just got this in a couple of days ago.

You should try for NTSC version of Tutankham as they're probably the rarest of all USA games. You'r emore likely to find a few sealed PAL version than to find *one* loose NTSC version.

Today, I picked up Diner, Pole Position, Popeye, Chess and World Championship Baseball all complete in the box with manuals and overlays (the games look like brand new) for $1.99 each.

I got other ones as well, but those seem to be of note.

I had never collected Intellivision before yesterday, but it looks like I'm in!

Be a sport and post a list of the games available and I am sure you could make some good friends here by picking up the games for some fellow collectors.

I was under the impression Super Cobra and Tutankham were not released in the US for Intellivision. Only in Europe. Confusion? :/

I could be wrong but I thought Tutankham did get released in USA. I don't have it so I can't say for sure. I haven't heard of Super Cobra being released in USA so it's European exclusive.

I believe Tutankham & Super Cobra were only released in Europe. And I am also pretty sure there are no such thing as PAL/NTSC Intellivision carts. The hardware can be PAL or NTSC but the carts are all the same.
    Thanks, Y-bot

I HAVE seen a copy of Tutenkham... Sean Kelly had it and was tempting me with it a few years ago, but at $75, I had to pass... Could not tell you if it was PAL or NTSC... Sean, if you are on, could you shed some light on this?

My understanding is that Tutankam and Super Cobra were ONLY released in Europe, making them PAL formatted games.

I know that they do exist, and at a minimum, they were released in Europe. The "ONLY" part is where I am about 80% sure.

I have to affirm a previous posters comments about the carts... there are no PAL or NTSC carts, only consoles.

And yes, Super Cobra and Tutankham were only released in Europe under the Parker (not Parker Bros.) label.

I would also like to add that there was some sort of warehouse find of both Tutankham & Super Cobra carts. Someoen was selling the at World of Atari '98 for $75-$80 each sealed and since then I have seen them pop up on ebay sealed as well. I keep kicking myself for not buying then at WOA '98 but I am always hesitant to pay very much for warehouse find items because you never know how many were found and how far the price is going to go down. Intellivision Melody Blaster used to be hard to find but now it goes for $10 sealed.
    Thanks, Y-bot

I have a Tutenkham, with box, not sealed. If you guys have any questions about it, like if you want me to check for identifying marks or anything, let me know.

CORRECTION: This is a 2600 cart, sorry for the confusion.
