Just let the baby have his bottle! It's Sonic, he's doing great with the new generation of kids. When the name "Sonic" is on the minds of children all over the USA. A part of me is happy, to know the blue blur is still kicking ass.
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

Can't say i'm too pleased about a Shadow the Hedgehog gae either (i mean for crying out loud he has a PISTOl?). When did Sonic known for his PLATFORM games resort to sponging off the over saturared FPS market?

It's no wonder Sonic Team have come under fire lately. Lets hope Next Gen will see a revival in quality.
heh, I totally enjoyed Sonic Heroes, but who would've guessed :P

Anyways, I got huge hopes for Shadow now. At the beginning, I was ridiculously scared of the move Sega pulled. But damn, just checked 1up's Top Games of TGS, and Shadow, along with Sonic Riders, are on the runner ups for "Best Gamecube Game, Best PS2 Game, and Best Xbox of Show". With Sonic 360 on the Xbox 360 list then.

    Who would've thought.

No No, for you see, GrayFox IS Sonic the hedgehog around here...no if's and's or but's about it...

    *loves Heroes*

    *loved Sonic R*

    *enraptured by Adventure*

    You were saying?

And those crazy Sonic Team members. Targetting a gaming audience weaned on GTA. Good grief, when will they learn? REAL gamers ONLY like the pre-1994 games. Stuff Sonic's main fanbase, target the teenagers and adults who should know better.

Most of my collecting has revolved around the sega systems, but strangely I've never been that big a Sonic fan.

I enjoyed the Genesis outings and Sonic CD, but the Adventure series just turned me off. That being said I'm actually looking forwards to Riders, mainly because I'm a big cart racing fan and this one looks to be in that vein.

It does seem strange to me that Sega and Nintendo seem to be steering their mascots away from the straight up platforming games that made them so popular in the first place. Granted Mario's drifted a hell of a lot further from them than Sonic has.

It's surprised me that no one has said that yet. I mean, wtf @ the dude that made the topic. You're sick of Sonic Team for making spin offs? What about Mario Golf, Tennis, Baseball etcccc. I thought that Sonic R was a better racing concept than Mario Kart, because Sonic games have always been about speed. Putting them on boards seems a little weird... but hey, I was sold as soon as I saw it was a Sonic game.
