Just confirmed that the NEC control pack will play Super CD-roms, but I still haven't figured out what the PAC PC1 is for. By the way, how does the memory work on this thing? With the Sega CD, it has the screen where you can manage memory. Is this so on the Laseractive? Also, are the extra memory carts compatible?
for any north american unit, you're better off using the composite output than the s-video anyways.. ld's were recorded composite i believe, and a built in comb filter in just about all players are outdated/inferior to those in tvs right now.
