Default Removing sticker residue from GBA boxes?

I've done a search through here and found a bunch of topics on getting stickers off a box... but nothing about getting sticker residue off oa box.

I'm very reluctant to try Goo Gone, but I fear that might be my only option. I'm not sure if a blowdryer will work or just cement the gunk onto the box for good.

I have used goo gone before, its kinda dangerous if you use too much. I went with a generic clear sticker remover I got from staples. I peeled as much off as possible with out scratching it and then used the solution. I let it sit for about a min and rubbed it off with a paper towel. Then lightly put water on a new paper towel and rubbed the area where I applied the solution to get it off the box so it wouldnt eat it. You can use goo gone but I would put some water in it to dilute it.

I have used bottles of goo gone during the course of the past year to take stickers and residue off of game boxes, carts, cart labels and everything else. As long as the box doesn't have open/bare cardboard from wear/creases etc, and you don't apply too much goo gone, you should be fine. I take my time when it's a game I care about, and apply little by little until it starts to come off. It may take a few applications, but if you are careful, there is the potential turn an ex-rental box into something that looks minty fresh.
