    Default X68000: What is it?

I found this CD full of X68000... stuff... in my boxes. I've also heard people talking about X68000. But I don't know what it is? A console? A computer? What year did it come out, and is it worth collecting?

It's a Japanese computer, designed by Sharp. It's an excellent gaming machine, outperforming even the Amiga and Atari ST. The first X68000 was released in the mid 1980's, about 1986 or 1987. Hope that helps.

You can get them from Digital Press (unofficially) as well, although Joe can't seem to get the emulators to work... is anyone else having the same problem? Please download this software, test it out, and let me know.

If you need games, try this page:

And if the emulators on Digital Press don't work, try getting them from this site:

P.S. By the way, Hydr0x failed to mention that the site he recommended was www.emuxhaven.NET, as opposed to .com. You won't get any ROMs from the .com address... just a lot of irritating pop ups.

Itīs a good computer, but the games available are not excellent for the time the X68000 was in the market, ex: Super Street Fighter

By the way, Joe, did you ever get those emulators to work?
