    I had no idea it was so rare. I'll be sure to keep my eye open for this one the next time I run into a lot of Atari games.

    Good luck, I've only heard of maybe two Sears Superman pic labels. There was a big thread on it over on AA.

    Yeah, don't be confused. Its just the label variation that is generating the auction to go so high. The three other variants are quite common, even this one that looks very close to the one in the auction:

    Funny thing is, it looks like the winner is actually a Superman collector and not a video game collector.

    Superman by sears?

    Uh...... that much for an R5 that usually costs 12 bucks? And are you sure he's not just a money collector if you know what I mean?

    Well the Superman in the auction is a super rare label variation. There is only 1 known to exist (maybe 2)

    Thats why it went for so much money.
