Default PSO (Gamecube) Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1&2

Ok , I know there has been threads about this game in the past , but they are buried and old.

Anyhow , myself , tynstar and neschamp have started to play this game online.

Me and tynstar have logged many, many, many hours of PSO online in the past and thought we should give it try again to join and help another forum member play this game online.

Soooo...... If anybody has this and plays it. Come join us !

Also , if you want to use this thread to actually discuss PSO. Feel free to do so I for one like the controls (my ASC II keyboard controller does rock)

I wish they would have made more online games for the Cube , but yea....

We will probably be playing nightly.

    What a wonderful game.

I've been tossing around the idea of renewing my Hunter's License and playing a bit until PSU gets released next year.

Did you three all start from stratch again, or with previous characters? I never really got fully into Ep I & II as I did with the original and v2. I only have a low level HUcast and a mid level FOnewearl (sp?). If I do infact get started back with it I wouldn't mind getting in on this action.

    Cheers.

We all have all sorts of levels to play with

I have characters ranging from high 60's all the way up close to 160. Same goes for tynstar. (except his high character is in the mid 160's)

neschamp seems to have characters from low to as high as 130ish ?

Come on back and join the fun ! Groups of 4 are perfect ! Also if any other DPers want in , I am sure there will always be openings

We were thinking of playing that. How does it compare to Episodes 1&2 ?

Blue Burst has some extra goodies. Episode IV, as well as Missions for Episodes I & II... some require multiple players. I might play a bit tonight.. it's been a while.

I'm glad Cap made this topic. We could use some other people to run with. But yea, I've played this game on and off since release and clocked an asston of hours leveling and hunting rares. Although, I never had played it as it was truly meant to be played. I actually began talking to both Cap N and Tynstar because of a topic the former posted here regarding PSO around a year ago. Ever since then, Tynstar had been busting my cajones about getting online. Within the last couple weeks, I acquired a BBA and an ASCII Keyboard controller and finally got online. Its definitely a completely different experience when you are able to play with some friends online. The game is actually fun again! So many quests to play and items to get - its nutty how much time someone can sink into PSO. To reiterate what they said - we usually are cracking some monster skull on Deneb 5/Block 5 in the late evening. If anyone feels like meeting up to play, just post in this thread or drop any of us a PM.

Yes indeed ! Welcome to the world of online PSO. Playing online makes this game way better and I for one believe it was intended to be played like this ! Offline by yourself can get a bit boring , but the game gets tougher , faster and so much more fun online. Sharing rares and tips with friends , helping each other to level up !

    Good times for sure !

Me and Lovely Assistant play blue burst as well, I'd love to play a game with you guys sometime. I won't be online for a week or so though, my PC is needing new parts do to massive hardware failure and I'm out of state, but I usually play a oran HUnewearl named DeeCee, on teefus (however you spell it) 4.

I made it to level 155 with my fonewearl (fem mage) last night.

This got me wondering what everybody's highest level characters are and then what is your next highest ?

Mine is 155 for my fonewearl , and my next highest is my Ramar at like 134

I have another in the 80's and yet another like at 70......

Should be online late tonight for any who care to join the fray.
