Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up. I picked up the last one here in Indiana. I also grabbed 2 car adaptors for 4 bucks apiece. Why 2? Why not? They were the last 2 also.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet... my friend fried my PSOne a few years back trying to put a mod chip in. But eh, maybe they can be trade bait someday.

The box was open once it seems, so the clerk gave me 10% off! Came to about $11.

They also had a ton of those Metroid Prime+Wavebird combos left. Feeling curious I asked for a pricecheck. $20! Being Im a new gamecube owner, this is great! Does anyone know if Prime with the "K mart exclusive" sticker is worth anything? Ive got it sealed, as Ill probably buy another because $20 for a game and a wavebird is a steal.
Ill be checking the other K marts in the area, If I find any more LCDs Ill contact some of you guys.

It's the same MP I have. The bundle is totally worth it as you literally get a game for free and a Wavebird for $10 less than regular price. (Or if you prefer, you get Metroid Prime and a free WaveBird.)
And no, they're not worth much more. The only part different though is the cover. So if you could get a regular MP cover you can pretty much not tell the difference. Bribe your GameStop buddies to let you switch them.
As for the open box. Wow, 10% is the same thing I give for floor models. Small world.
Now, if only they'd lower the price on those damn Mario Party 4 bundles. They're still $60!

Lol, I bought 12 of these today. There are 10 Kmarts in the Baltimore area still, and I only had to go to two to get 12 of them, and I left 3 at the second store. My roommate works at Best Buy too, so we are gonna check on the AV cable (they sell it in the camcorder section for $40.00, so the employee price should be about $4.25 or so).
Now, to figure out how to mount/install/hang them in my basement!
Does anyone have any extra psone lcd screens then? I bought a combo on ebay and the screen was DOA.
Does anyone use the PS1 screen with other consoles? If so, do you mount it some how or put a bracket on it or is there any other ingenius ways to make the screen stand?
I found TWO screens at my local K-Mart!! One box was in threads and the other box perfect. I picked both up, at $13 each of course. The one in threads worked perfect (it was obviously opened too at one time) and looked new. The unopened box I tried out and luckily I did. It didn't work!!! The screen was so dark that you couldn't see anything and just heard sound. The brightness knob didn't do anything. This is the same problem I had with my combo PSOne I got from ebay. I will have to return it for a refund now.
DOES ANYONE KNOW if the combo's are on sale??? The stickers say $79 at my store.
With a little creative hacking you can plug the multi AV port of the PSone screen into the PS2. Change your video output mode in the PS2 config from Component to RGB and you're good to go, no adapters necessary. I was thinking about cutting a hole in the top of the PS2 and mounting it inside for an all-in-one PS2 solution
The screen even powers on and off when you turn on and off the PS2.

I went to my local Kmart today and they had 2 left. The big supprise was that they were both marked with the $13 price and sitting in the display cases around the electronics check out counter. What happened to the disorganized Kmarts of the past?
Sitting right next to the screens were PSone systems marked for $29.99. I bought one of them also. I figure it only cost me $5 because I wanted a new duel stock controler anyway and they cost $25.
Someone told me that the PSOne combos at KMart are $29.99. Can someone verify???????
